Wow! £12 million extra for our hospital and 72 new beds.
This Government is investing in Peterborough’s NHS.
Over the past twelve months ive surveyed almost every household in my constituency and the need for extra capacity at our hospital came through load and clear.
That is why I’ve been pressing Ministers down at Westminster.
Together Peterborough, we did it!
These beds and this cash will make a huge difference for patients in our city. It will relieve winter pressure on our hospital, and bring forward unused office space for clinical use.
I want to congratulate hospital management for everything they’ve done to secure this money.
This Government believes in Peterborough and our potential. We are turning things around and we are a city on the up.
