Great to welcome local apprentices from Caterpillar/Perkins in #Peterborough to Parliament!
This week is national apprenticeship week where we celebrate the high-quality opportunities that are now available across the country via apprenticeships.
That’s why we’ve delivered nearly 700 different apprenticeship routes, that can take you onto nearly 70% of occupations – all the way from nursing to law, and accountancy, and even space engineering.
Since 2010 we have delivered 10,950 apprenticeship starts in #Peterborough. I want to build a high skill, high wage economy. Building and accelerating apprenticeships are a huge part of that.
