When possible MPs should bring Ministers to their area to show best practice and make the case for support. As the Peterborough Conservative MP candidate I took The Secretary of State for the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, to see the community cafe & garden at Ravensthorpe. I wanted to show him what wonderful work the volunteers and PECT are doing in our community.
It was great to have the opportunity to show Michael one of the many reasons I am Proud of Peterborough.
