Can you believe that Peterborough City Council are trying to get rid of the lollipop ladies that help children cross the busy Eastfield Road to get to Newark Hill Academy?
This is a Council that understands the cost everything but the value of nothing.
I am working with Cllr Ishfaq Hussain and the school to stop this madness. The Council Cabinet who could make this decision should be ashamed of themselves.
My letter to Peterborough City Council - saying if they are going to get rid of the lollipop ladies that help children cross the busy Eastfield Road to get to Newark Hill Academy - they should have the decency to meet with the school and parents and tell them why they are doing it.
