Up to 21,900 households in my #Peterborough constituency (plus many more in the South of the City) will receive the new Cost of Living Payment this Spring. And 13,100 will get the disability cost of living payment.
I spoke in the debate on this yesterday - and on what this means for Peterborough.
👉 £301 – First 2023/24 Cost of Living Payment – during Spring 2023
👉 £150 – 2023 Disability Payment – during Summer 2023
👉 £300 – Second 2023/24 Cost of Living Payment – during Autumn 2023
👉 £300 – 2023 Pensioner Payment – during Winter 2023/4
👉 £299 – Third 2023/24 Cost of Living Payment – during Spring 2024
COVID and Putin’s war mean inflation is too high. These direct payments will help.
Together with the wider support package, including the Energy Price Guarantee, the Household Support Fund administered by Peterborough City Council, and the payments that came last year - are all part of the plan to get us through this tough time.
