This did affect people in #Peterborough. I like most people watching the ITV show - Mr Bates vs the Post Office - horrified. This is a horrendous true story.
I was in the debate today in the House of Commons - it’s clear a few things need to happen:
👉 All prosecutions of sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses need be quashed
👉 Full compensation to be paid to victims of the scandal
👉 The Post Office has proven itself incapable from bringing its own prosecutions
👉 Paula Vennells's CBE needs to be revoked
👉 There needs to be criminal investigation into the Post Office and Fujitsu
