Another reason to scrap the Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) is their £200 million bonkers busway plan!
Supported by Liberal Democrat and Labour Councillors (and of course our Labour Mayor) this busway would destroy the beautiful Coton Orchard - bulldozing precious trees more than a century old.
There is nothing green or environmental about this dreadful plan. We need better public transport and an alternative bus route alongside existing roads would serve the same purpose.
If I was Mayor, and had the powers of the hated GCP - I would scrap this planned bonkers busway. It’s time to scrap the GCP.
